Healthy Mini Chocolate Donuts
With no eggs, lactose, or gluten but full of chocolatey heaven, you and your kids will love these baked healthy donuts. With a mini donut pan, you get a perfect tasty treat full of nutrients that will have you saying "Yes" to dessert!

- 84 grams water 6 T
- 15 grams ground flax 2 T
- 84 grams almond flour 3/4 cup
- 80 grams oat flour (certified gluten free if needed) 3/4 cup oat flour or 1 cup pre-measured oats
- 40 grams cocoa 1/2 cup
- 3 grams baking soda 1 tsp
- 90 grams milk of choice 1/4 plus 1/8 cups
- 60 grams maple syrup 1/4 cup
- 60 grams brown banana 1/2 of a banana
- 54 grams extra virgin olive oil (or oil of choice) 1/4 cup
- 2 grams white vinegar 1/2 tsp
- 1 gram sea salt 1/4 tsp
Chocolate Frosting
- 42 grams dark chocolate chips
- 9 grams oil of choice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a small bowl mix ground flax and water. Set aside.
Whisk together dry ingredients. Then add in wet ingredients, including the flax/water. Stir well to incorporate.
Grease donut pan and add in the batter. Fill donut wells to just below the lip. You should fill 12 mini donuts.
Bake for 8-15 minutes (longer if using a larger 6 donut pan), or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.Allow the donuts to cool for about 5 minutes in the pan. Then remove from pan to cool completely. Microwave the chocolate and oil in 15 - 30 second increments until the chocolate is smooth and shiny. Drizzle the cooled donuts with the frosting, and if desired, top with your choice of sprinkles.
